It’s better to skip mascara while you’re wearing extensions. It can build up at the base of the lashes and make them fall out sooner. Most clients feel they don’t need it once their extensions are on.
Have a quick look at the label or ingredients list. If you see oils or waxes, it’s not the right one for extensions. Products that clearly say “oil-free” or “safe for lash extensions” are usually the best choice.
A gentle, oil-free or water-based eyeliner works best. Liquid and gel liners glide on easily without pulling at the lashes, which helps keep your extensions in good shape.
